Fey Square is usually a quiet, desirable, friendly area to live in, and when a retired judge dies after falling into a well, the residents are shocked at the unfortunate accident. However, closer examination of the judge’s body reveals a more sinister truth—the death was no accident.

When another resident of Fey Square is murdered, it quickly becomes apparent that a crazed killer is tar-geting the residents of the sleepy neighborhood: but why? What connects the victims and why are they being picked off now?

Could the short tempered piemaker be targeting those who have slighted her? Have the obvious prejudices of the intolerant blacksmith spilled over into violence? Did the embittered town drunk, grieving over his lost wife and child, finally snap? Or could the killings all be to hush up an affair between old flames, reunited after years of being kept apart?

The city watch need help tracking down a cunning assassin who is rapidly racking up the body count in the district. But will any willing heroes step forward and put themselves in the path of…
